Anthropic Launches New Claude 3 App for iPhone and a Premium Plan

Anthropic is one of the leading generative AI startups, with a budget of $7.6 billion. All that money has been put to good use as they unveiled their latest development, a Claude 3 app for the iPhone and a new premium plan for businesses looking to avail their services.

This payment plan is targeted to regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, and legal. Introducing Team, this plan grants priority access to Anthropic’s Claude 3 AI model’s robust administration and user management features.

What is the Anthropic System’s Business Plan?

 Anthropic System's Business Plan

To coincide with the new Claude 3 app release, Antropic paired it off with a new business plan. This will help give some direction for the business and give new business options for what services they can avail of.

“Anthropic introduced the Team plan now in response to growing demand from enterprise customers who want to deploy Claude’s advanced AI capabilities across their organizations. The Team plan is designed for businesses of all sizes and industries that want to give their employees access to Claude’s language understanding and generation capabilities in a controlled and trusted environment.”

The Team plan will be available alongside Anthropic’s premium plan, Pro, which offers enhanced usage per user, allowing for a significant increase in chats with Claude. Team customers enjoy a 200,000-token (~150,000-word) context window and all Pro benefits, including early access to new features. (Figures requested from Anthropic.)

The other major feature is the context window, which refers to the input data considered by a model before generating output. Models with small windows may forget recent context, while larger ones maintain coherence and comprehension.

The Team plan introduces billing and user management toggles, forthcoming collaboration features such as AI-generated claim verification, and integrations with data repositories, like codebases and CRM platforms. Anthropic promises a canvas for collaborative work on AI-generated documents and projects, enticing prospects for this writer.

Soon, Team customers can harness tools from the Claude 3 app which is now in open beta. This empowers users to customize the Claude 3 app with tools for diverse tasks, such as retrieving stock prices or local weather, akin to OpenAI’s GPTs.

“By enabling businesses to deeply integrate Claude into their collaborative workflows, the Team plan positions Anthropic to capture significant enterprise market share as more companies move from AI experimentation to full-scale deployment in pursuit of transformative business outcomes. In 2023, customers rapidly experimented with AI, and now in 2024, the focus has shifted to identifying and scaling applications that deliver concrete business value.”

Despite these recent developments with the Claude 3 app, there is fierce competition in the AI market, especially since Open AI is ramping up its efforts to be adopted by businesses. Anthropic’s Team plan offers competitive pricing at $30 per user per month billed monthly, with a minimum of five seats. ChatGPT Enterprise pricing isn’t publicly disclosed, but Reddit users mention quotes ranging from $30/user/month for 120 users to $60/user/month for 250 users.

Backed by Amazon’s $4 billion investment and $2 billion from Google, Anthropic forecasts an annual revenue surpassing $850 million by 2024, marking a 70% rise from initial estimates. With this momentum, expanding through the Team plan seems a logical step. Currently, Anthropic could nurture the Team’s growth organically while showcasing its superior generative AI.

“Anthropic’s Team plan is competitive and affordable considering the value it offers organizations. The per-user model is straightforward, allowing businesses to start small and expand gradually. This structure supports Anthropic’s growth and stability while enabling enterprises to strategically leverage AI.”
