Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Start with a conversation. We discuss your needs and preferences, get an understanding of your company, and tailor the solution to your requirements — including identifying people whose skills align with your work culture. Reach out through the contact form, by email, or by phone and we'll guide you from there.

How can I get in touch with my team?

Your team works in your communication tools — Slack, Teams, email, phone, whatever you already use. We help set this up during onboarding, and our technical team is available if anything needs configuring. You can always reach geniusOS directly at [email protected] or +1 858-257-7804.

Do my employees really focus on working for me?

Yes. Your team serves you exclusively. These are dedicated employees who integrate into your organization — not shared resources split across accounts. Efficiency comes from your team actually knowing your business.

Do I have to stay in a contract for a long time?

No long lock-ins. If you decide to leave, we ask for at least 90 days' notice — enough time for you to prepare the transition and for us to make arrangements for the affected staff.

How does your pricing plan operate?

Three components: staff pay (passed through with no markup — what your staff member earns is what you pay), the geniusOS service fee (workspace, utilities, technical support, staff benefits including medical insurance and retention programs), and an equipment rental fee (so you don't buy hardware up front). Every component is itemized. See the Pricing Overview for details.

How does the job interview process happen?

We identify your specific requirements, then our recruitment team presents candidates who meet your criteria — screened for skills, experience, attitude, cultural fit, and career goals. You interview and select. Once you've chosen, it's just a matter of picking a start date.

What times will my employees work?

You decide the schedule — start times, breaks, and days off. The standard is 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch. We comply with all applicable labor regulations, including any premiums for non-standard hours. If you need coverage in your afternoon or overnight, tell us and we'll recruit for that shift.
