This year, Teleperformance BPO sent a team of volunteers to help with operations in Brigada Eskwela and were pleased to report a sizable increase in the number of volunteers they received compared to before. This time, they saw 26% more people volunteering compared to previous years.

In total, 242 people joined in various locations across the country, something they have touted as a demonstration of their employees’ selflessness, dedication, and willingness to solve a problem. All things are important in running a successful outsourcing business.

“We are proud to see a continued increase in volunteer hours each year. We’ve recorded 1,500 volunteer hours for this year’s Brigada Eskwela for on-location activities alone. That does not include all the time spent on the preparations and coordination for the actual school activities.”

One of their teams, cleverly called TP Dream Builder gathered volunteers from nine Teleperformance BPO locations and put them to work helping repair schools, repainting the buildings, cleaning the grounds, and setting up furniture.

“Seeing how our employees have generously shared the gift of time and how truly passionate they are to support our philanthropic efforts makes us proud.”

-Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer and Citizen of the World Chairperson.

Teleperformance BPO has assisted in schools all over the country this year including in Cagayan, Davao, Cavite, Baguio, Pasig, and Bacolod.

More importantly, they have expanded beyond just another player in the market as their relevance is visible in places outside outsourcing. By participating in government activities and volunteer programs, the business has become respected across the country, getting the eyes and ears of investors and players alike.

These developments ensure the BPO industry continues to receive positive attention. Even among employees, this will ensure that they feel like their contributions are helping other people.
